Historic Hampden Cottage built in 1880 charming luxury two bedroom cottage on two acres close to the village.
Charming luxury cottage is beautifully restored, keeping a lot of its original country feel. All the luxury modern conveniences we expect today. No comfort has been overlooked for 2 – 4 guests. Enjoy a private relaxing stay. Two large queen size bedrooms have beautifully handcrafted Australian furniture, comfortable mattresses and quality bed linen. Additional single day bed if needed for a child. Leave your car and enjoy an easy walk or bike ride into the village. Complimentary quality bikes are available. Bikes must be booked prior to stay.
Let nature greet you in many ways at the cottage and adjoining nature reserve. We have wild life visitors in the garden and a wonderful array of birds in the surrounding woodland and garden. As evening sets in indulge yourself in the large two person spa bath, then cosy up in front of the wood fire. The cottage has a good range of books, DVDs a flat screen TV and games to entertain.

For overseas visitors we have a wonderful early morning wild life self guided tour by kayak or canoe.
A must if you would like to see some of our local furry and feathered friends in their natural habitat. You may wish to go bushwalking or horse riding.
